Piano Sonata #1 (clip)

Here is a clip from my first (and only, to this point) contemporary piano sonata, written while studying with Dr. John Downey at UW-Milwaukee. The piece taps an assertive energy, spinning out dissonant cells, interspersed with a syncopated silence from which the music creeps, and explodes.

Here is a clip from "On Passing," an epic romantic-style mood piece I composed and recorded in high school (which explains the sound quality)
with my high school musician friends singing, playing flute and oboe. (I'm on piano.)

I've figured out how to post music using Podbean. Now I need to decide what to post. I write in many styles, pretty much all tonal, not top 40. A few different samples might do it.
